Treat prostate cancer by lowering testosterone levels
Manage advanced breast cancer by reducing estrogen levels
Control endometriosis symptoms and shrink uterine tissue
Prepare the uterus lining before endometrial ablation surgery
Goserelin is a Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH) agonist. It temporarily shuts down the body’s production of sex hormones (testosterone in men, estrogen in women), which helps slow the growth of hormone-sensitive tumors and reduce symptoms of hormone-related conditions.
Patients may experience:
Hot flashes
